The 22 piece – Creation Collection was created in 2022 for the BLM presentation Black Lives Matter- Black Kingdoms Matter – YouTube This work illustrates James Weldon Johnson’s poem, The Creation. Because of the article , How Africa Became the Cradle of Humankind | Science| Smithsonian Magazine and other research done, I decided to make this an African version of the Creation. You will see African motifs throughout.
